Appearance
Description sentence:
A medium-sized, lanky dilute calico with yellow eyes.
Appearance:
Duskleap is neither large, nor small in that she's a perfectly average frame. She has a thin, long and lanky frame that is useful in situations that require great agility and speed. What she makes up for stamina, she excels in an endurance. Due to not having particularly long limbs, she tires easily. Large ears and long whiskers help when hunting, giving her means to come up with different means to take down her prey and sometimes enemies. She is short-furred, with slightly longer fur around her paws and tail. Her base coat color is a warm gray, with diluted cream and white patches splattering her pelt. Upturned eyes are a warm yellow with a slightly orange-y tint.
Personality
Positive Traits: • Meticulous • Innovative • Uncomplaining • Determined | Negative Traits: • Reserved • Dishonest • Calculating • Aloof |
Personality:
Duskleap is very, very clean. She prides herself on her grooming sessions, which she has at least three times a day. She's generally very meticulous when it comes to her schedule and her appearance, and if she's ever late to something she really beats herself up about it. She also enjoys organizing and cleaning things, but can be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to it. Her reserved nature sees that Duskleap doesn't speak often. In fact, she rather prefers that she keeps her opinion to herself, as she doesn't like having others spit fire in her face. There's also that she genuinely doesn't like to talk and she wants to be away from everyone for awhile. The warrior can be very innovative, coming up with ideas on the fly and implementing certain ones in her fighting and hunting styles. Occasionally, she'll go around the camp, silently looking at the walls and.. wondering.
Complaining is something that Duskleap abhors. If she's given a job or is told to go fetch something, she does it immediately and silently. There is no complaint, as she believes that whining and making a fuss is a waste of breath and activity. Might as well get it all done when she can, especially when she was an apprentice with her very very impatient mentor. Lying is almost second nature to her, as she's been doing it since she was small. She masks the little white lies in what is mostly truth, often exaggerating things or coming up with things that are simply untrue. Rarely she will completely make up a story, purposefully making it seem as true and real as possible. At the same time she is very calculating; always watching and always waiting. She's extremely calm and patient, and is willing to wait for what seems like forever for something to occur.
While she can be extremely determined to see things through and get them out of the way, she is also aloof. Where she is reserved in that she doesn't like talking and prefers to be on her own, she keeps herself at a tail's length away from her clanmates. She is relatively cool in communicating with others, neither expressing dislike or like for them. For all her dislike of socializing, she is fairly close to her siblings and is remarkably family-oriented. She enjoys being around them and feels relatively content when they get together.

Character Background
Family:
Coralnose (mother -- deceased), Mousestep (father), Drift- (sibling), Tinystar (sister)
History:
kithood
As the eldest of three siblings, Duskkit often found herself watching over her two younger siblings as they played. Seldom did she join in herself, as even when she was young it was fairly obvious she would be an antisocial she-cat as a warrior. She was quiet, always watching and always making mental notes of situations. Her mother's doting on Tinykit served its purpose well, a distraction from having to watch over her eldest daughter. Occasionally, Duskkit would stare blankfaced as Coralnose scolded her for not keeping more of an eye on Tinykit, but she never kept it in mind. She started out protective of Tinykit and her other sibling, though as the moons passed she found herself drawing away from them to instead observe the comings and goings of camp life.
apprenticehood
Duskpaw's apprenticeship received little fanfare, as not long after she gained Waterheart as a mentor her mother passed away. She grew closer to her siblings as a result, as close as they were as kits before Duskpaw decided to pull away. Even then, Tinypaw was a bossy little apprentice as they trained. Duskpaw, unwilling to tell her sister off, would always smile softly at her. It became more apparent that Driftpaw was a fighter as they grew, his roughhousing and tumbling around with other apprentices distinctly obvious. Though Tinypaw's ambition was something that Duskpaw had her eye on, as the leadership her sister displayed made her slightly wary. For all her silver tongue in lying, she was not a good politician.
warriorhood
After receiving her warrior name, Duskleap was not surprised when Tinyfin became deputy not long after their ceremony. Not surprised at all. The warrior still kept an eye on her siblings, though at this point she was a little wary of Tinyfin as her status as deputy. She kept an eye on what she said to her little sister, making sure that she didn't give her true thoughts. Of course, she was proud of her sister! She just didn't trust Coconutstar and his decisions. Tinyfin was still remarkably young, and still is! Duskleap can see the stars dancing in her sister's paws, and she isn't sure what to make of it.
