The Rockpile

Located near the back of the camp and leaned up against the cliff side is a large pile of rocks that reaches to the top of the medicine cat cave. This pile of rocks is where all leaders make their announcements and call for Clan meetings.

Leader's Den
NO THREADS HAVE MADE IN THIS BOARD.
The leader’s den is nestled within a collection of roots that form a small den at the base of the Rockpile. The top of the den holds its structure because of the skull of a long-dead large cat that died near the cave. The den itself is small and quaint but it is sufficient for three cats to sleep in at any given time.

 Medicine Cat CaveThe medicine cat den takes up the majority of the cave, utilizing its stonewalls to keep the sick and injured cats dry, as well as the herbs that the medicine cat uses. Located in the far back of the cave is a small pool of freshwater, but it isn’t advisable to take a dip within it’s murky depths as a strong current flows below the first tail-length.

 Apprentice/Warrior DensThe warriors and apprentices make their dens within the roots of the surrounding trees as well as in small caves that are dug out of the ground. With no one true large den, they are a bit spaced out, fitting into the different portions of the roots where they can. Some senior warriors have taken to sleeping higher up on the first branches of the trees.

Nursery/Elders Den
NO THREADS HAVE MADE IN THIS BOARD.
The Nursery and the Elders den is combined into one, and is partially located inside of the cave that the medicine cat calls home. Utilizing a smaller entrance off to the side of the main one that leads into a small cave mostly used for the newest kits and the oldest elders. There is a small tunnel that bridges the Nursery / Elders cave and the Medicine Cat cave, yet it is usually blocked by a small rock on the Medicine Cat side to ensure that no kits venture where they shouldn’t. This rock is large enough for a kit or even several kits to find immovable, but easy enough for an older cat to push aside. Outside of the cave there is a small shelter built from roots and mud to both conceal the entrance and also enlarge the small den.

Situated at the base of a large cliff and surrounded by rainforest, the JungleClan cats make their homes beneath the large roots of the trees and within a naturally formed cave dug into the side of the mountain. This naturally advantageous position lends to their camp being currently undiscovered by outside cats. They keep the location of their camp as an utmost secret, and will actively go out of their way to ensure its safety.
