Description sentence:
A silver tom with slightly longer fur and light yellow eyes.
Appearance:
When it comes to his appearance, Bleakpaw's defining trait is his silver fur. It's a bit longer in length - especially around his neck - but instead of having a more of a fluffy look, it appears to be a bit more on the rough and unkempt side. Along with his silver pelt is a dash of white upon his neck, chest, and underbelly. Other noteworthy features are his light yellow eyes, his pink nose, and fairly faded tabby stripes if one looks close enough.
Bleakpaw is rather medium in size - neither being overly large or small. As mentioned above, his fur isn't extremely fluffed up or poofy, so it doesn't really contribute in making him appear any larger than what he currently is. Whether if one considers his rough-ish looks handsome or not, Bleakpaw seems to be fairly satisfied in how he looks and even as a fledgling, he's surprisingly very toned when it comes to his muscles.
Positive Traits: • Confident • Diligent • Adaptable | Negative Traits: • Cold • Demanding • Impatient |
Personality:
Bleakpaw it's certainly a hard one to handle at times - mainly because, for the most part, he's a miniature version of his father. The young tom has made it his goal to strive forward in pursuit of his father's approval and ever since he entered that mindset, he's grown much more cold. He's very confident in himself and while that could swing toward the negative at times (to borderline arrogant), it's mainly a positive due to the fact that Bleakpaw isn't afraid to take initiative. Even though there's always the potential of failure, he still trusts himself and is confident that he'll still be able to figure out some sort of solution that works.
Bleakpaw is also very diligent with anything that he's tasked with. While there may be a few grumbles here and there depending on what that task is, he'll still put forth all the effort he can and aim for the best - mainly because it was drilled into his mind that anything less was a sign of weakness. This, however, is where his demanding attitude rests as well. This trait is mainly directed toward his siblings, though, and not really toward other clanmates. He has a tendency to push his brother and sister to follow his example in putting forth their complete effort into everything and not to be lazy, but most of the time to them it just comes off as nagging.
The silver tom can also become fairly impatient during certain moments - more so when he has to either explain himself more than once, or if, for some reason, someone fails to keep up with his pace. If someone falls behind, Bleakpaw has no qualms with leaving them behind. He's always been fairly adaptable to whatever change comes his way and isn't one to hesitate even if something is different from before.

History:
TW: Indications and the mentioning of an abusive relationship may be present here.
When they were born, the life of Bleakpaw and his siblings started off normally. They were the litter of Coralcloud and Silvershell - two well known fighters within Tidalclan. The match was a bit strange - the two were complete opposites from one another - but most of the clan seemed to be content in viewing what shone on the outside. Coralcloud was gentle and motherly - and Silvershell, while strict, was a committed father. In spite of that belief, though, they've never truly been that happy family.
At the very beginning, all of them seemed to fear Silvershell's wrath. Their father expected perfection from all of them - no exceptions. He stepped into the role of being the head of the family almost as soon as Bleakpaw and his littermates had opened their eyes. He seemed to control every aspect of their life - and there were moments when Bleakpaw felt like if he breathed wrong, he'd run the risk of a sharp rebuke from his father. Both him and Pearlpaw were slightly better off than their sister, though. Silvershell wasn't known for his subtly and it was quite obvious that he would have rather had three sons rather than a daughter. As a kit, Bleakpaw would often scoff at anything that left Silvershell's mouth. His ill-treatment toward Urchinpaw his mother made his blood boil and he never originally wanted anything to do with the tom.
Back then, he almost seemed like a completely different cat. Carefree, soft-hearted, and considerate. It was almost as if the very act of becoming a fledgling was what changed him. Like a flipped switch, when the day where they'd all become fledglings drew ever near, Bleakpaw pulled ahead of his siblings with a fierce ambition that surprised all of them. It was almost as if he'd made himself a beacon that drew his father's attention in like a fly. Suddenly, he was agreeing with every word that left Silvershell and began working his hardest to please the older tom. Before where he would scoff, now he would nod and go along with it and the connection with his sister and brother slowly grew more distant and cold. It seems like now whenever he does end up interacting with Urchinpaw or Pearlpaw, all the scoffing and eye rolling from before seems to be directed at them rather than Silvershell. Most of the time, though, he doesn't really even try to interact with them and seems satisfied with ignoring them and putting forth his entire focus on his duties and lessons as a fledgling.
Very mysteriously, however, there have been two occurrences where the old Bleakpaw had suddenly shone through. The first was a bit more subtle than the second - it happened when Bleakpaw caught sight of their father being particularly harsh to Urchinpaw one morning. Normally, something like that he would ignore, but that day he'd called his father over to discuss something. While that wouldn't have been too out of sorts, there almost seemed to be a flash of loathing in Bleakpaw's eyes as he fell in to match his father's pace as the pair walked away from his sister.
The second occurrence happened after Bleakpaw had befriended someone. It was rare in itself for him to connect with anyone - it was one of the teachings his father drilled in his and his siblings' minds constantly. Everyone was competition - connections, or more accurately friendships, weren't worth it. The friendship seemed to soften Bleakpaw up just a bit - he began to smile a bit more, and upon occasion would even laugh. However, after being drawn away by his father one day, the young tom suddenly grew fairly cold against his newfound friend and after an argument with them, he left them behind without a glance back or an explanation why.
