Tunapaw
TidalClan ∙ fledgeling ∙ male ∙ 7 moons
Appearance
Description sentence:
A black and white tom with green eyes.
Appearance:
Tunapaw has a mostly white pelt with black patches only across the face and back, which is generally more white fur than the typical Tuxedo pattern. His chest, belly, and paws are all white. His black fur forms a symmetrical mask on his face, framing his eyes and ears, as well as a white diamond splotch on his forehead. He has green eyes of a seafoam color that can appear gray in bright lighting. Like the rest of his family, he has a shorter, stockier stature. He has a scar running from his cheek down to his neck due to an accident when he was a kit, which he is quite self-conscious about and will attempt to hide with his fur every morning.

Personality
Positive Traits: • Amiable • Flirtatious • Passionate • Energetic • Adventurous | Negative Traits: • Mischievous • Jealous • Sensitive • Annoying • Nosy |
Personality:
Tunapaw is the tom that no cat can say no to. He is spoiled with attention and will go to great lengths to obtain someone's favor. From a young age, he explored his amiable and adventurous personality, and knew he was a cat of strange quirks. He gets along with almost any cat. The more withdrawn someone is, the harder he tries to win their trust and attention. Tunapaw is passionate about other cats and tends to be loyal to individual friends rather than the Clan as a whole. While other cats tend to demonize or generalize outsiders and JungleClan, Tunapaw is known for saying, "I'm sure they are interesting individuals too." His open love for diversity and personality has gotten him into a lot of hot water with his mentor and clan leader, and can easily be mistaken for disloyalty.
Furthermore, Tunapaw is known for being a rather obnoxious flirt. Aside from flirting to gain favors and friends, he is a player among she-cats. However, he lacks commitment and decisiveness and will put most she-cats down once they become close. He thus is the center of romantic drama and often to blame for broken hearts. These things do take an emotional toll on him, as he is actually a very sensitive cat. He is not the best at handling his own feelings and often overreacts to stresses. On top of this, he is prone to jealousy and will lash out when hurt. Part of this may be connected to his spoiled nature since he is very used to being the center of attention, and sometimes cannot cope with things not going his way.
Tunapaw is a cat of infinite energy. He is constantly on his paws with a happy-go-lucky attitude. He hardly ever turns down an invitation and makes sure his days are filled with activities. He can be quite the goofball and has a great sense of humor. Unfortunately, this can occasionally get on other cat's nerves and come off as immature or annoying. Among the Clan, he has plenty of friends and continues to make more, loving every cat for their unique personality. With close friends he can be very bubbly and often the life of the party.

Character Background
Family:
Mother: Tilapiarose
Father: Troutwhisker
Sibling: Tangpaw (sister)
History:
Tunakit was born in a litter of two with his sister Tangkit. His mother is Tilapiarose and his father is Troutwhisker. Tunakit was a mischievous and spoiled kit from the beginning, enjoying his parents doting and cooing. However, his fun loving behavior also got him into lots of trouble. In an infamous incident, he went to explore by the island shores without an adult and was promptly attacked by an angry heron. After Tunakit put up a squealing fight, he promptly lied to the adults that he simply "tripped over a rock" before passing out and waking up in the Medicine Cat's Den. Since then, Tunapaw has tried to hide the large scar on his neck that is a remnant of his mischievous kithood.
As he grew up, he was less aware of his parent's tensions than Tangpaw, but eventually began to notice them. He is rather close to his father Troutwhisker, but while Troutwhisker never speaks ill of his mother, he also never praises her. Tunapaw was extremely determined to ingratiate himself with his mother, and constantly praised her and reminded her that he was thankful for her care. Tunapaw is no less doting of his sister, Tangpaw, whom he will defend fiercely. The two are an interesting pair of siblings, and Tunapaw has always been the more annoying and less responsible one.
